Maohina is a Hina doll with an elegant standing pose.

The first Hina dolls were standing dolls.
This is derived from "hitokata/katashiro" (doll), which is the root of Hina dolls.
It is said that the roots of Hinamatsuri lie in the custom of entrusting impurities to paper figures and letting them flow away.
Standing dolls have the distinctive feature of being neat and tidy, with the costumes clearly visible all the way down to the feet.

The kimono was made using high-value pure silk.
In addition, the sleeves are dyed using the Yuzen dyeing technique to create a shading effect.
The soft luster that is unique to pure silk makes the color changes created by the blurring look even more beautiful.

The hem of the princess's kimono is decorated with plum blossoms.
Because it blooms earlier than other flowers, it is said to be "the first of a hundred flowers to bloom."
It heralds spring, which is considered the season of new beginnings, and its floral meanings include "patience," "elegance," "nobility," and "loyalty."

The lord's kimono is decorated with pine and wisteria flowers.
Pine trees are evergreen, so they remain green even in winter, and their always lush appearance has led to them being considered a symbol of immortality and longevity. Wisteria flowers are highly reproductive, and because they grow vines that entwine with other trees, they are considered a symbol of longevity and the prosperity of descendants. Their cluster-shaped flowers resemble ears of rice, and so they are considered to be auspicious, as they are used to pray for a good harvest.

The kimonos with auspicious patterns are custom tailored for you.
Since the kimonos worn by standing dolls are large, it may be easier to see whether they are being dressed properly or not.
