We were able to celebrate the first Doll Festival safely.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a small celebration with just the three of us as a family, but the Hina doll gift from my parents had a very strong presence.
Every time I put up the Hina dolls, I hope that my child will feel a renewed sense of gratitude for having been born strong despite difficult circumstances.
I hope that she grows into a dignified woman, like a standing doll.
