A mother and daughter's lifelong treasure: Masou-chan from Adachi Ward, Tokyo: Her experiences and memories of her first Hina doll and Hinamatsuri festival
A mother and daughter's lifelong treasure: Masou-chan from Adachi Ward, Tokyo: Her experiences and memories of her first Hina doll and Hinamatsuri festival
This is a Hina doll that my grandparents chose at an exhibition in Tokyo.
When I first saw it, I thought the color of the kimono was old-fashioned, subdued and unusual.
At first glance, I was captivated by the kindness of his features.
I also really like how they chose a cherry blossom folding screen to match my daughter's name.
I think that no matter how old I get, I will remember my grandparents' faces every time I decorate them.
My heart is filled with joy right now.
Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma, for the wonderful gifts.
It will be a treasured memory for both mother and daughter.
