A beautiful doll: Maika-chan from Tokyo: Dolls and the first Doll Festival
Thank you very much for your kind assistance in selecting Hina dolls for my son and his wife and my first granddaughter.
Thanks to this, we were able to choose a beautiful Hina doll that met our wishes and enjoy celebrating Hinamatsuri as a family.
My son and his wife live in an apartment in Tokyo and have limited space to store things, so their first requirements were size and storage capacity.
Furthermore, it would have been nice if we could have come and seen the real thing, but our children are still young and we didn't have the time to come and see it.
Therefore, we made our decision by exchanging information over the phone, through brochures, and the Internet.
I myself had never been involved in choosing a Hina doll before, so I started with zero knowledge.
To be honest, I visited several doll stores, hoping to find the best one that met my requirements.
My son and his wife also seemed to search for something that met their requirements on the Internet and at nearby department stores in Tokyo.
I especially had trouble finding one that was the right size for the space I had available.
As I researched, I found something in Hinasei's catalog that was the right size and had good storage capacity.
When I saw the actual doll at the store, I was immediately taken by how beautifully and carefully made the doll's face and costume were.
However, there would be no point if my son and his wife (and granddaughter) didn't like it, so I had a hard time getting them to understand how good the real thing was.
Fortunately, Hinasei's catalogues and website were very comprehensive, with beautiful photographs and easy-to-understand explanations, so my son and his wife were able to see how good their products were.
Although she was happy to hear that she could choose from a wide variety of combinations, it also made her even more worried.
We were able to get in touch with the store and explain our concerns over the phone, and they even took photos of the combination we wanted and sent them to us. Thank you so much for your willingness to help us out with all the trouble.
I have some commemorative photos which I am attaching here as a token of my appreciation.
I had a little trouble at first as I knew nothing about it, but thanks to you I was able to enjoy the selection and my son and his wife seem to really like it, so I hope this will be helpful for those who are making a selection in the future.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I'm Tsujii, a staff member at Hina Dolls.
Congratulations on Maika's first Doll's Festival.
In addition to the Hina dolls themselves, all the employees were touched by the Hina dolls made by the older brother that are displayed next to the ones in the middle photo.
When I called I was told that they were looking for a storage type item, so I wondered what it would look like when displayed, and I was surprised that it fit perfectly, as if it was made to order.
I'm sure your grandfather made this choice after much deliberation.
I'm looking forward to the day when Maika grows up and we can decorate and prepare a Hinamatsuri feast together.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
