My daughter was born in October, and my wife's parents gave us a Hina doll as a gift.
My wife, who accompanied us, said that when our father entered the room, he liked the first doll that caught his eye and so he decided on that one.
I was shown photos and remember being impressed by the strength of the dolls and the beauty of the embroidery on the bases.
In my parents' house, it is a tradition to display all of the family's Hina dolls, and this year, four generations' worth of Hina dolls were gathered together, with my daughter's Hina doll in the middle.
Looking at the dolls lined up, I felt the sensation of a new member being added to the family, and I could sense the passage of time as big changes took place in my family.
My daughter is only 5 months old, so all she can do is look at the doll, but I hope that as she gets older she will grow to love and cherish the doll.
Thank you very much for the wonderful Hina dolls.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I'm Yoshinaga, a staff member at Hina Dolls.
Akane's eyes looked as if she was saying, "This is my Hina doll!"
Congratulations on your first Doll Festival.
I'm sure your grandfather had "encountered" the Hina dolls.
Sometimes there are people like that.
We have so many items that most customers have a hard time choosing, but there are some who say, "This is it!" the moment they come in.
On such occasions, many people choose a Hina doll that perfectly matches the image of the baby, and we are always impressed by this.
It's a wonderful custom to display all of your family's Hina dolls.
I hope you will keep all four generations (maybe five generations eventually?) together and display them forever.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
