The joy of seeing Hina dolls: Shimada City's Tsumugi-chan and her Hinamatsuri and first annual celebration
The joy of seeing Hina dolls: Tsumugi-chan from Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture and her first Hinamatsuri
The other day, I celebrated my daughter Tsumugi's first Doll's Festival, and she sent me a heartwarming letter.
I displayed my Hina doll next to my daughter's.
The smallest of my Hina dolls displayed in a case.
At my mother's urging, I brought it from my parents' house.
Looking at the Hina dolls of two generations, mother and daughter, lined up, I was reminded of the joy I felt when I looked at the Hina dolls as a child, and for the first time I was able to understand the feelings of parents wishing for the happiness of their children.
Just like the Hina doll with its gentle face and faint smile, I hope my daughter will grow up healthy and with a rich heart.
I am very grateful to Hinasei for teaching me the meaning and importance of Hinamatsuri.
Also, when my mother inquired about a wooden tag for the Girls' Festival, you kindly delivered it, and I'm really grateful.
Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I'm Kurebayashi, a staff member at Hinasei.
Thank you for the lovely, heartwarming photos and letter.
I am also happy that you had a wonderful and memorable Hinamatsuri.
It will look even more gorgeous if you display Tsumugi's Hina doll next to her mother's Hina doll.
I'm sure your parents must have cherished it.
Now that I've become a parent, I finally feel like I can understand the feelings and thoughts of my parents.
I'm sure we'll be able to decorate together next year and make even more memories.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
