"I like this face": Marin-chan from Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture: Hinamatsuri, Hina dolls, first festival

The other day, we celebrated my granddaughter Marin's first Doll's Festival.

She is an angel who finally came to us after eight years of marriage.

It was extremely difficult even before I became pregnant, but I suffered from severe morning sickness throughout my pregnancy and had to have an emergency Caesarean section.

So, as a grandmother, from the moment I saw the baby's face, I was determined to make the Hina dolls beautiful.

After all, Hina dolls are meant to protect girls, so while I was planning to go around to a few stores, my daughter offered to look for one online.

I want to search slowly and carefully.

After much searching, the two of them finally found this Hina doll.

"I like this face."
The Hina doll's gentle face and gorgeous folding screen were perfect for the Western-style room, and it was a Hina doll that fulfilled my daughter's wishes.

The dolls that arrived were even more beautiful than I had imagined.

I was amazed at how carefully and meticulously everything was made.

I will continue to treasure it and display it, praying for my granddaughter's healthy growth.
