This is fate!: Kanae-chan from Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture | First Doll's Festival
This is fate! : Kanae-chan from Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture: Hina dolls and Hinamatsuri - A letter from the first Hinamatsuri festival
This is XX, who purchased the "Kanae Hina" doll from Hinasei in March of this year.
I am writing to express my gratitude to you, regardless of the photo contest.
This is my third child and my first girl, and I was really looking forward to displaying the Hina dolls even during my pregnancy.
Since giving birth and being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, I haven't been able to go to stores to look at Hina dolls, but I found Hinaseisama's Hina dolls on the internet.
As I was looking at the website and thinking how lovely it was that each of the various types of Hina dolls had a name, I came across a "Kanae Hina" doll with the same name as my daughter, and I got very excited.
Not only the name, but also the face, kimono and display shelf design were all lovely, so I knew it was fate and decided to buy it immediately.
It was truly a fateful encounter!!
I was really happy that they accommodated our unreasonable request to have a wooden tag identifying the dolls as "Kanae Hina."
On the day of the first festival, we couldn't take many proper family photos because of my two mischievous older brothers... (laughs)
We were able to celebrate in a lively manner.
When I was little, I used to look forward to my mother bringing out the Hina dolls every year after Setsubun.
I would be so happy if my daughter looked forward to it every year like that.
I'm looking forward to the day we can decorate them together.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful girl.

This is fate! : Kanae-chan from Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture: Hina dolls and Hinamatsuri - A letter from the first Hinamatsuri festival
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
This is Shibata from Hinasei Dolls in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
It is truly fate that Kanae-chan and her Hina doll have the exact same name.
I'm glad you were pleased with the wooden tag as well.
Kanae-chan was smiling so happily, it made me happy to watch as well.
Kanae, the long-awaited third girl, is the family's idol, and I'm sure she will grow up healthy and strong, protected by her two kind older brothers.
I think that next year Kanae will start talking a little more, and the festival will be even more lively.
Be sure to decorate your home with Hina dolls every year and create lots of happy memories with your family.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.
