A gift from my parents-in-law: Eiyo-chan from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture: Hina dolls and memories of Hinamatsuri

My daughter was born on January 25th.

We weren't able to celebrate our child's first Doll Festival this year, and thought we would have to wait until next year, but my parents-in-law gave us a gift so we were able to celebrate this year.

I look forward to decorating and celebrating with these adorable dolls every year.

Thank you for welcoming us to celebrate our baby's first Doll's Festival shortly after he was born.

Is she half asleep? The sight and expression of Eiyo asleep in her robes was so adorable it made my heart flutter.

We look forward to seeing Eiha grow up and look at and touch the dolls and become fond of them.

Have fun with your family from the decorating process onwards.

And maybe one day, Eiyo will display it herself.
