This is Shibata from Hinasei Dolls in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The two dolls lined up are a truly gorgeous way to celebrate the festival. I could feel the kindness in the hands of the family as they touched Kouki-chan, and it made me smile to think that she will continue to grow up surrounded by lots of love.

Next year she might help me decorate the dolls, and the year after that she might help me prepare a feast for Hinamatsuri.
Just thinking about it makes me excited.
