Every morning I gaze intently at the Hina dolls, full of curiosity: Memories of my first Hinamatsuri festival: Rio-chan, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture

I would like to enter the Hina Doll photo contest.

My daughter's paternal great-grandfather had passed away that morning, so her paternal family was unable to gather together to celebrate, but we were able to celebrate by taking photos with the beautiful Hina dolls.

My 6-month-old daughter was so fascinated that she stared intently at the Hina dolls every morning while we were decorating them!

I haven't shown it to my paternal family yet, so I'm hoping to win the grand prize of a family photo shoot.

Not only Rio-chan, but the smiling faces of the whole family are lovely too. It makes me happy to watch.

It's a shame that the whole family couldn't gather together for the first festival.
I hope that next time we can all celebrate in a big way, not just with photos.

While decorating, Rio must have been very curious about the dolls and decorations she was seeing for the first time.
