About 3 hours from Yokohama: Yuzuki-chan in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture: Hina dolls and Hinamatsuri

My search for a Hina doll began when my first grandchild, Yuzuki, was still in my mother's womb.

I came across Hinasei by chance on the Internet, and they immediately sent me a brochure which I read through many times. To be honest, I also wanted to know more about other companies' Hina dolls and collected brochures that I wanted to see in person. I waited for them to be on display in stores, and went around looking at a few stores with my husband.

However, I couldn't find anything that I thought was "the one!" and I was lost, but when I opened Hinasei's pamphlet again and looked at their website, I fell in love with the "Kasumi Hina" at first sight and wanted to see the real thing, so I traveled about three hours from Yokohama to Hinasei's store.

Although we had almost decided on Kasumi Hina dolls, there were many beautiful dolls in the store, and we were distracted and had a hard time deciding which one to buy. However, we decided on our own because we "fell in love at first sight" and because our daughter "wanted something elegant and something we don't see often."

Because of this impression of Hina dolls from childhood, I wanted a Hina doll dressed in red for my child as well, and we ultimately decided on Kasumi Hina.

I would like to thank the president and female staff for always putting up with me without a single complaint while I was worrying about various things at the store.

I am very pleased with the Hina dolls that arrived, as well as the folding screen, storage box (stand), props, etc., which were all made with such care.

At this year's Hinamatsuri, Yuzuki was just under four months old and still didn't seem to understand anything, but we could still see her gazing intently at the Hina dolls.

I look forward to my grandchild taking an interest in and cherishing her Hina dolls next year, and the year after, and I hope to watch over her as she grows up healthy.
