Just looking at my daughter makes me smile: Tohri-chan from Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture: Hina dolls and her first annual celebration
My daughter was born last August, and my parents sent me a Hinasei doll as a gift.
I had no idea about it because I was looking forward to receiving it.
When I put it on display, I was captivated by the gentle faces of the dolls and the beautiful Hina dolls.
My daughter is gradually getting better at crawling and seemed happy as she reached out and touched the decorations.
Both families came together to celebrate the first Doll Festival and enjoyed a lively day.
On the day of Hinamatsuri, I tried getting her to sit by herself so I could take a photo, and was surprised that it worked!
With their beaming smiles, I couldn't help but take lots of photos.
Our daughter has brought great happiness to us as a couple and to each of our families.
Just looking at my daughter makes me smile; she is such a precious and irreplaceable treasure.
From now on, I look forward to decorating the house with Hina dolls every year and celebrating my daughter's growth together.
