I was deeply moved by Rio-chan's first Hinamatsuri (Girl's Festival) in Kokubunji City.

I was deeply moved... Rio-chan from Kokubunji, Tokyo: Hina dolls and the first Hinamatsuri festival
My parents gave my daughter, who was born in September, a Hina doll, and thanks to it she was able to celebrate her first Hinamatsuri in a joyous way.
As an expression of gratitude, I will be submitting a photo from that day to the contest.
My mother was attracted to the soft, pale pink faces of Hinasei's Hina dolls when she saw them on Instagram, and applied for the exhibition in January.
I ordered a catalogue in advance and chose a few options before going to the exhibition, but when I saw them in person, all of the doll kimonos were so beautiful that I had a hard time deciding...
My husband had said that the stand screen should be one that looked like flower branches swaying in the wind, so my mother and I went through the motions to choose a doll (and kimono) that would look good against it.
In the end, we decided on "Momoyui Hina," in which the princess wears a bright red kimono and the prince wears a very elegant white kimono so that they stand out against the white background.
Without a single frown, the staff member showed us each of the dolls we wanted, displaying them on a stand so that we could get an idea of the overall Hinamatsuri decorations.
Thanks to you, I was able to take my time choosing until I was satisfied.
Thank you very much.
As I chose the Hina dolls with my mother and displayed them, I felt deeply moved, thinking that a day like this would come when I would be praying for my daughter's happiness and healthy growth.
Since my daughter was born, seasonal events often look different to me.
When I thought about how my parents had decorated the house for Hinamatsuri every year, wishing for my happiness, I was filled with gratitude.
Although being a first-time parent can be quite disheartening at times, this first Doll's Festival made me realize once again that I want to raise my daughter with care, just as my parents did for me.
Thank you very much for the wonderful Hina dolls.
Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I'm Kurebayashi, a staff member at Hinasei Dolls in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Soft, squishy pink cheeks ♪
It's so...adorable.
All of the photos show Rio smiling, and it is clear that she enjoyed celebrating her first Doll's Festival.
The husband also participated in selecting the Hina dolls, and we could see his deep love as he carefully and lovingly considered together with his grandmother the beauty of the kimono and the design of the stand screen.
When Rio grows up, I'm sure she will realize that just like her mother, she wished for her happiness and health.
We sincerely pray for Rio's continued growth as she shows us different expressions every day and every year.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to work with us.
