I bought a nice Hina doll: Sana-chan from Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture | First Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day)
First Children's Festival!
Hinasei's Hina dolls.
It's so cute and I've had it on display ever since it arrived in January.
Every day my family and I look at it and say, "How cute!"
Every day after my husband comes home from work, he sits upright in front of the Hina dolls and comforts me by saying, "You bought a nice one!" lol
My grandpa gave me a surprise gift: a giant Japanese white-tailed tit.
A smiling shot of a Hina doll and a long-tailed tit.
It seems that my grandmother had carefully kept the hakama that I (the mother) wore on my first Doll's Festival, so I was able to dress my daughter in it.
It was a strange feeling to think that I was wearing it 30 years ago.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
I'm Tsujii, a staff member at Hina Dolls.
Thank you so much for sharing your heartwarming and wonderful story about your first festival.
All of our craftsmen are filled with joy knowing that families enjoy looking at the Hina dolls every day.
My husband's comment, " You bought a good one, " brought a smile to my face.
I was also touched by the surprise gift of a long-tailed tit from the grandfather and the family bond of the child passing on his mother's haori from 30 years ago.
We are very honored that the Hina dolls are at the center of your family's memories .
We hope that you will continue to display it for many years to come, bringing smiles to your faces.
Thank you so much🌸
