Why do we display Hina dolls on Hinamatsuri?
Hinamatsuri, which falls on March 3rd (the old festival date is April 3rd), is a day to celebrate the growth and mental maturity of children and wish them good health and happiness for the future.
It has a long history, having been the home of shoguns, nobles, and feudal lords since the Muromachi period.
Gradually, the event became accessible to the general public as well.
However, we live in an age where we have a lot of different televisions, information, and games.
It is a shame that the true meaning of Hina dolls is not being passed down.
What is Hinamatsuri?
In the first place, Hinamatsuri is a celebration where the whole family puts themselves in the girls' shoes .
It's about celebrating growth.
The young lady smiles there.
It's so cute.
And there are young ladies who decorate the house with Hina dolls, experience and learn about the Hina Matsuri.
You feel something in your heart, something is burned into your heart, and it grows.
It is true that we Japanese have come this far thanks to our ancestors.
The Japanese have become materially wealthy, but conversely, they have become less able to feel spiritual wealth.
Is this the "true happiness" that our ancestors desired and sought?
What is important now is to instill this richness of spirit in your daughter's heart.
Once you think of it as an annual learning experience, you will understand why Japanese people have celebrated Hinamatsuri with Hina dolls for so long.
Pray to God and give thanks to Buddha!
It is also the role of Hinamatsuri and Hina dolls to teach this way of thinking to children.
That's why Hina dolls are such warm gifts from grandparents!
It is a " gift from the heart " in the form of a Hina doll.
